NEANIAS Space Services for Structure Detection on Large Scale Maps with Machine Learning in Astrophysics

    NEANIAS

NEANIAS project is playing an active role in the materialization of the European Open Science Cloud ecosystem by efficiently engaging large scientific and professional communities driving the co-design and delivery of innovative thematic services, derived from state-of-the-art research assets and practices in Space research. In particular, the SPACE-ML Service will deliver a user-friendly cloud-based solution for innovative structure detection (e.g. compact/extended sources or filaments), integrating tools such as the Compact And Extended Source Automated Recognition (CAESAR) [Riggi, et at 2019] and the CUrvature Thresholding EXtractor (CuTEx) [Molinari, et al. 2011] with machine/deep learning frameworks.
