M.EMO.RAI
M.EMO.RAI
M.EMO.RAI is a collaboration between the Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin and the RAI Italian public radio and television broadcast organization. In this project, supervised deep learning models are developed to automatically analyze the constant influx of social media content about the television programs of RAI. In particular, the analysis focuses on the emotions expressed on social media (fear, love, anger, surprise, disgust, joy, sadness, anticipation, and trust), along with additional dimensions such as irony, offensiveness, and hate speech.
The project also aims at exploring the topology of the social media network, in order to gain insights on communities around television content, their opinions, and how they interact with each other.
