This project targets two broad problems:
– the former has to do with the contextual nature of lexical meaning, which is at the base of semantic composition;
– the latter involves extracting and building systems and resources that grasp verbal semantics.
Various sorts of embeddings and neural architectures will be explored, and various applicative domains (amongst which documents categorization, keywords extraction, open domain question answering, text summarization, etc.) will be considered.
